Hi everyone- m'names Todd. I just finished reading The Giver for the 32nd time. I'm pretty big into photography... and after I finished, I had an idea. It would be cool to do parts of The Giver in a photobased comic-esque thing. So basically using photos, along with the text, or narrative based on the text to accomplish the story.

Think this could work? any ideas on the matter?

Hello there - thanks for the comment, I hope to read the biography when it comes out, as I'm sure it will be more than fascinating...

Thanks for the support on the project. While it's moving very slow, I do wholly intend to do this project and do it right. At the moment I am still mainly writing out some ideas for translating the book into still film, as I think that in order for it to work, it'll have to be in a cautious pre-planned manner. I've taken some concept photos and the like, and once I like how things are moving with my "storyboard" and have abused friends enough into forcing them to make the commitment to model for the people shots (can't have Jonas changing from scene to scene, etc.) Then I hope to start the fun part. Thanks for checking in, Post a reminder here when the biography is released, as I really would like to read it if at all possible.

Thanks again, have a nice day!

Will do! I added you to my friends list. Keep me posted on the project too. I bet Lois would like to see it when it's ready.

Why thank you, I've done the same!

Will do, hopefully it'll move a lot faster when silly things like school don't get in the way ;)
